Because Windows' Device Manager does not implement a search function, I had to download USBDeview (see here: ). However, I knew from the board's reference manual and documentation that there should be an exposed serial port, which Windows would refuse to discover.Īfter seeing that FT-Prog was able to identify the FT2232 chip on my dev board, I took note of the properties it exposed. I could program the main chip through USB and the FT chip's JTAG capabilities. I had a proper prototype board (not DIY, not inexpensive) that I knew was working. ![]() His answer helped point me to the right direction, but it basically leaves the reader looking at FT-Prog. I can't add comments but I think this is a necessary addendum to answer. ![]()
